Pam and Stephen are a busy couple with an active teenager at home. After renovating other spaces in their home, it was finally their turn to treat themselves to a gorgeous en suite refresh. After working with them to choose paint colours for the exterior of their home, it was my honour to help them make better use of this tired, cramped and outdated bathroom.
I love taking on the design of that final area in the house that hasn't been touched yet. A forgotten or neglected corner that deserves the fullest attention, because those overlooked spaces are often the most fun to create.
Pam and Stephen had left their own en suite bathroom as the last part of their home to be fully renovated, and I wanted to make sure the tiny space was as special as they are.
Their home was already decorated with Parisian motifs, so when I found out that Stephen had proposed to Pam at the Eiffel Tower, I knew that I had to include some French-inspired touches into the design.
Opening up the shower was a no-brainer, giving the bathroom more breathing room and recouping every usable square inch of the room. A European-style glass partition helps the space look brighter by providing more reflective surface.
It was a lovely gift to be able to help Pam and Stephen design their space, and we developed a wonderful friendship throughout the process. I am deeply grateful to know this special family!
